Snow, snow, snow!

Into December we go! Things seem a bit jumbled with the snow days and blizzards and such. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing after this. This month will focus around Christmas and each day we will spend some time practicing for our Christmas concert! The students seem very excited that parents are coming in to watch them.

We finished up our night unit which turned into more of a space unit. I have added some pictures of projects we did.

Some of our moon books. We have been talking a lot about fiction and non fiction books and main characters in stories. We will  be working on setting and parts of a story, next.

We learned about how the moon gets craters and showed that with our paintings.

We worked together to create a city night picture
and created constellations.

During center play the students have been busy building places for the dinosaurs and creating buildings from blocks. Below are some pictures of the students at work and play!

Stay warm, drive safely and see you tomorrow!

Don't forget we may be heading outside tomorrow to play! Please send warm outside clothing.

Almost forgot... inline skating was lots of work and lots of fun!

It takes a lot of concentration to rollerblade! Tom, the instructor, was very good and taught the kids how to get up, move their feet a bit at a time and to make a diamond and keep their hands out in front!

Until next time.... be a good listening monster!
