Bus Barn Fun!

On Thursday, we visited Lita and Sheila at the Bus Barns. 

First, we watched a safety video to learn about bus safety and then we shared the bus safety rules we knew. 

Next, we got to practice our bus safety. We watched for the bus driver to wave us across when it is safe, held the rail getting onto the bus, sat down in our seats and learned

that there are 8 emergency exits on a bus. Did you know the front window can be kicked out? Then we got to practice an emergency exit out the back door of the bus. We had to make fists, tuck in our arms and then jump down out of the bus with help from adults. Even Mr. Monster got to try it! 

Finally, we got to head out on the open road and go for a ride around town in the bus! We saw so many things outside the window! Thank you Lita and Sheila for letting us practice inside so we didn't get too cold! It was so much fun:)

This week in our gym time we played Musical Hoops. We are practicing safe running, walking and moving in the gym. We have not had one crash! Mrs. Eberts' thinks we are amazing!!
