Candy Canes and Gingerbread!

What a fun week we had!! Mr. Elf has been visiting the classroom and we have been scientists making predictions and observations of our experiments. Santa has been making us find out some interesting things about candy canes and gingerbread. We have worked on our Christmas concert songs and can't wait to have our parents in to see us shine! 

What makes a candy cane dissolve the fastest? Hot or cold water? Conclusion: hot water

The left hand gingerbread is in vinegar and the right hand gingerbread is in hot water. Which one will dissolve the quickest? Observation: neither of the gingerbread have dissolved yet... stay tuned until Monday.
