A little class writing... look at what we love to eat!! 
We have been working on this shared reading chart. Our sight words that we focused on are; I, can, see, the. The students are doing really well. The picture cue cards are from our story Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Today we watched a version of the story and did our final sequence project! The students did terrific!! Next step, retelling the story to me!

We have started a new round of Star of the Day. It is a daily routine that focuses on capitals, periods, sight words, sounding out, printing, words, sentences, letters, rhyming, likes/dislikes and things that make each student unique! Be sure to ask your child all about their chart when it comes home! You will be amazed at all that they can do :)

PS Just a reminder that next week there is only school on Tuesday with Teacher's Convention on Thursday and Friday!
Our kinder kid came home with her bucket filled today too:) have a well deserved long weekend
