Growing and Changing!

Each week in Kindergarten is so busy and fun. There are 26 students that amaze me with what they can create, imagine, build and share. Take a look at some of the things that have been happening!
Solving math problems with manipulatives.

Writing the room.

Making patterns.

Building with Lego... carts, buggies, trucks and more!

Making a ship as tall as your chin!

Sharing and playing with friends.

Following directions to make snowman art!

Cutting, gluing and building!

Playing counting to 10!

Reading to self and with a friend!

Making patterns everywhere!

Building puzzles and identifying all the rhyming words!

Shaving cream letter practice! So much fun... for some... and a lot of mess!

Building insects, aliens and creating their own pieces.

Cooperative play and a lot of conversation at morning play time.

Building robots and cages.

J started out with a square and then built a square prism when asked if he could make it into a cube!

Reading letter books to the class has become a favorite activity!

Fun outside times. It is especially fun when the sun is shining!

Creating, planning, talking, building, balancing and more all goes on during block play!

Building fierce dinosaurs...

Writing and card making.

Drawing patterns for friends.

Building a cube with magnets is tricky! Great perseverance, G.

Magnet pattern fun! The girls made so many patterns on this morning.

A tent for my dog.

Can you find all the patterns?

Mr. Monster has made a return visit looking for super kind and caring students!

Ask your child about the characters, setting and 3 events that are in the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They have been doing a great job of listening to the different versions of that fairy tale.

As well, see if they can remember two things bears eat and if they are a herbivore, a carnivore or an omnivore!

We will continue with Goldilocks next week and introduce the letter Ww!

Have a great weekend and see you on Tuesday.
